EP Released September 24th!

It's official. The new EP "Time" will be released on September 24th, 2010. A release concert will be held at the Tahitian Noni auditorium. Check the calendar for details. The album will be available at the concert for $5.

EP Coming This Summer!

Debra will soon enter the studio to record a brand new six song EP with a group of all-star musicians and producer Scott Wiley. Recording begins mid-June. The expected EP release date is sometime in August.

Christmas concert

On Thursday, December 3rd Debra will perform a Christmas concert with two other artists: Nicole Sheahan and Spencer Harrison of the talented local Provo band Fictionist. The concert will be held at the Velour Live Music Gallery on University Avenue in Provo, UT at 8:00 pm. Admission is $5. Details are below. Joining Debra on violin will be talented violinist Mindy-Anne Arrington.

Hymn Album

Deseret Book recently released an album of hymn arrangement's produced by the talented Scott Wiley. Each hymn offers a new take on an old favorite. Debra was asked to arrange a hymn for the album and she chose "More Holiness Give Me." Other artists on the album include Mindy Gledhill, Paul Jacobsen, Sarah Sample, Dustin Christensen, Chris Merritt, Libbie Linton, Kyle Henderson, Spencer Harrison, Dominic Moore, and Kalai. Nashville Bound

Debra will be heading out this week for the Awards Ceremony for the Just Plain Folks Awards, which will be held at the famed Wildhorse Saloon auditorium in Nashville, TN this Saturday. Debra's song "Fire" was nominated in the Best Song category. Debra will also perform at the Pre-Awards showcase the night before which will be held at another famed Nashville venue, BBKings. You can watch a live webcast of both the pre-award showcase and the awards show. The pre-award showcase can be viewed Friday beginning at 7PM Central Time and the award show will be on Saturday at 5PM Central Time from the Just Plain Folks website at www.jpfolks.com.

Debra selected as finalist at world famous folk festival

On June 19th, Debra will open for SONY recording artist and nationally acclaimed singer/songwriter Teddy Geiger at Velour Live Music Gallery in Provo. Teddy has been featured on the cover of Seventeen Magazine, on MTV and VH1 and dozens of other national news and entertainment sources. Teddy is a fast-rising star who puts on a show you should not miss. Also performing will be touring artists Hilary McRae and Scott Harris. House of Blues, etc

Attention friends and fans. Debra will be playing at the prestigious House of Blues in Hollywood, CA on April 30th with Stephanie Smith in conjunction with the International MUSEXPO. See Stephanie's site for more details.

Also, you may have noticed two upcoming shows in the Logan area that have been removed. The show at Utah State University has been canceled and the show at Why Sound Studio will be postponed until a later date. Thank you for your support.
